This year’s The Recycling Association Conference will take place on 12 November.
The venue has kindly been provided by Ashurst solicitors in London at their new offices. Venue details are here https://www.ashurst.com/en/locations/europe/london/
As you will be aware, the market has been exceptionally challenging this year, and that will be our main focus for this conference. Indeed, following my State of the Nation presentation, we will spend the majority of the afternoon session discussing the market, end destinations and the longer-term opportunities and challenges we face.
Other speakers include Simon Weston from CPI who will present on trends in the virgin and recycled paper markets. Helen McGeough, senior analyst for plastics, at market intelligence publication ICIS will present on the virgin and recycled plastics market.
Recently, The Recycling Association has been developing our blockchain project, The Traca. Mike Jackson from Prismm will give an update on that.
We are also aiming to have a retailer or manufacturer speak at the conference to help us understand the changing thinking on packaging. More speakers will be confirmed soon.
Although the standard price for a ticket is £99+vat, members attend for FREE as a member benefit.
I look forward to seeing you there at such a crucial time for our industry.
