The Recycling Association’s 2018 Quality First Conference will take place on Tuesday 17th April at Ashursts Solicitors’ Conference Centre, 5 Appold Street in London (3 minutes’ walk from Liverpool Street Station). Click here to book tickets.
Mary Creagh MP, chair of The Environmental Audit Committee which scrutinises the UK Government's performance on environmental protection and sustainable development, will be the keynote speaker. The Committee is front and centre in the debate on the impacts of National Sword and circular packaging design, pushing Michael Gove MP all the way to make sensible and sustainable changes.
Also speaking will be Simon Ellin, with an update on the Quality First campaign, providing an insight into how China has changed the debate and the impacts experienced to date, both by members and material users globally.
As would be expected in the current climate, several well-known retailers and packaging design experts have been invited to share their responses and future plans to improve recyclability. We’ll also be hosting a panel discussion covering the real, shop-floor business impacts of and responses to the China ban.
A full programme will be posted here shortly but we recommend that you book tickets ASAP as spaces are limited.
Two free tickets are available to each member or associate member - you will receive an email shortly with a code that will allow you to access these. Further tickets can be purchased at a cost of £99 per ticket.
Any remaining tickets will go on sale to non members from Monday 12th March at £99 per ticket.
As with last year, there will be networking at the end of the event.
